| 40px | This is a documentation subpage for Template:Cite LADOTD map. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
This template is used for referencing road maps published by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (and its predecessors).
Usage
{{cite LADOTD map |date= |section= |sections= |inset= |link= |access-date= }}
Parameters
- Either of the following parameters is required, or the map will default to the latest year.
- date: the year the map was published. A more specific date (in ISO format) is required when more than one map was published in a given year.
- year: interchangeable with date.
- Various suffixes are required for maps other than the standard annual statewide highway maps: "D" for highway district maps, "P" for parish maps, "S" for the 1937 planning survey maps, "RS" for right-sizing maps (i.e. 2012P).
- district: the name of the highway district, for district maps (i.e. "02").
- parish: the name of the parish, for parish maps (i.e. "Jefferson").
- sheet: identifies the specific sheet for parish maps split across multiple sheets (i.e. "North").
- section: to indicate the map section. Output is preceded by "§", the standard abbreviation for "section".
- sections: to indicate the map sections, if plural. Output is preceded by "§§", the standard abbreviation for "sections".
- inset: to indicate the map inset. Output is followed by "inset".
- link: to link the department as author.
- access-date: to set the date the map was accessed from an online source; defaults to a known date when the URL was added to this template.
