![]() | This is a documentation subpage for Template:Cite Skeat. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
This template assists citing the 4th edition of An Etymological Dictionary of the English Language by Walter William Skeat.
Usage
The first parameter is the word entry. Other options are:
|page=
or|pages=
– if stated, the citation will link to the corresponding page (if the link does not work, specify the correct URL in|source=
)|source=
– if unspecified or set toarchive
, the citation will link to Archive.org; if set togoogle
, it will link to Google Books; if set tonone
, the link will not appear; if set to anything else, it will override the link (must be a URL)|mode=cs2
– makes it compatible with {{Citation}}
If both the first parameter and the page(s) are specified, the entry will be linked instead of the book title.
