Usage

Used to mark a template for conversion into a standardized template format. place inside 'noinclude' tags on the template page to prevent the message from being transcluded into article space:

  • {{convert template|target_template}}

Parameters

  • template = the standardized template that the template should be converted to
  • discuss = a link to the discussion page for the conversion (defaults to the talk page of the standardized template).

This template adds any templates it is transcluded into to Category:Templates to be standardized by default, or to a Category:Templates to be standardized/{{{template}}} subpage if that category page has been created. Please create these category subpages as needed, and make sure that the subpages contain [[Category:Templates to be standardized]] to keep the category hierarchy intact.
