| This is a documentation subpage for Template:Corpus Aristotelicum table. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
{{Corpus Aristotelicum table}} is a customizable list of the works by (or attributed to) Aristotle that are known collectively as the Corpus Aristotelicum.
Full and partial renderings
{{Corpus Aristotelicum table}} renders the table as above, i.e. in full. To render up to four of the table's five sections, include any/all of the parameters |logic |physics |metaphysics |ethics-politics |rhetoric-politics. For instance, Template:Tcpl yields:
| Bekker number |
Work | Latin name |
| Metaphysics | ||
| 980a | Metaphysics | Metaphysica |
| Ethics and politics | ||
| 1094a | Nicomachean Ethics | Ethica Nicomachea |
| 1181a | Great Ethics* | Magna Moralia* |
| 1214a | Eudemian Ethics | Ethica Eudemia |
| 1249a | On Virtues and Vices | De Virtutibus et Vitiis Libellus |
| 1252a | Politics | Politica |
| 1343a | Economics* | Oeconomica* |
| Rhetoric and poetics | ||
| 1354a | Rhetoric | Ars Rhetorica |
| 1420a | Rhetoric to Alexander | Rhetorica ad Alexandrum |
| 1447a | Poetics | Ars Poetica |
The list should remain ordered by Bekker number regardless of the order in which the parameters are included.
Single sections
Template:Plaincode and Template:Plaincode render, respectively, the Parva Naturalia and animals-related sections of the Physics works.
position, border, key
To centre/center the list (horizontally), set position as "centre", "center", "centred" or "centered" (e.g. |position=centered). The border around the list and/or "Key" box at its top may be omitted by setting border and/or key negatively (e.g. |border=remove, |key=omit).
