Description

This template is meant for articles with Criticism, Controversy or similarly-titled sections that segregate a series of negative details into one section.

Note that criticism and controversy sections are not prohibited by policy, and the tag should only be used if there is a real concern that the criticism section and its contents is causing trouble with the article's neutrality.

Adding this template to a section without opening any discussion of the matter on the article's talkpage may result in the template's removal from the article.

Usage

Place {{Criticism section}} at the top of the section. You may also include a date, using the following format:

{{Criticism section|date=January 2026}}

This template sorts articles into Category:Cleanup section.
