Usage
Cycling squad is a set of four templates that create a standardised cycling team squad list for use on the main cycling team article page. The four templates are:
- Template:Cycling squad start
- Template:Cycling squad rider
- Template:Cycling squad mid
- Template:Cycling squad end
The only one of these that has any parameters is Cycling squad rider.
Using the templates together
The templates create a list in two columns. Every list must start with Cycling squad start. Each rider needs a Cycling squad rider with parameters as set out below. The Cycling squad mid template marks the point where the list is split from the first column to the second. Finally, the list must end with Cycling squad end to close everything up.
Parameters of Cycling squad rider

- {name} - the rider's name wikilinked, with a piped link to a disambiguated name
- {nat} - the rider's UCI registered nationality, can either be the three letter code or full name. Do not wikilink
- {birthdate} - wikilinked birth date. Consider using year to enable the reader to quickly gain an insight into the average age of the squad
Style guide
Wikilinking
Rider names should be wikilinked, piped if necessary. Date of birth should not be linked. The use of year will show the date of birth and current age automatically and enable the reader to quickly gain an insight into the average age of the squad.
Example
Cycling squad start Cycling squad mid Cycling squad end
