Usage

This template is for articles incorporating text from the National Institute of Standards and Technology's Dictionary of Algorithms and Data Structures, which is public domain and available free online from the NIST website. It should be placed at the bottom of the articles on which it is used.

{{DADS|{{{2}}}|{{{1}}}}}

where {{{1}}} equals the html name of the page within the DADS website, and {{{2}}} equals the name of the subject.

Hence,

{{DADS|Adaptive Huffman coding|adaptiveHuffman}}

will produce the following message at the bottom of the article:

File:PD-icon.svg This article incorporates public domain material from the NIST document: Black, Paul E. "Adaptive Huffman coding". Dictionary of Algorithms and Data Structures.
