Template:Speedy deletion templates

This template is used to tag pages for speedy deletion under the speedy deletion criteria, specifically CSD G6. There is a separate template for each criterion – see the table to the right.

This template places the page into the category: Candidates for speedy deletion.

Usage

The template should be placed at the top of the page to be deleted.

Parameters

{{db-g6|rationale=The reason for deletion}}

If the |rationale= parameter is not specified, the default is "This page needs to be deleted to merge histories, reverse a redirect, or perform other non-controversial housekeeping tasks." Unless you need to delete the page for one of these reasons, please specify in this parameter why the page needs to be deleted. Consider also using one of the alternative templates listed below.

{{db-g6|bot=ExampleBot|rationale=The reason for deletion}}

Bot accounts will specify the |bot= parameter to notify the reviewing admin that the page was tagged by an automated process.
