Speedy deletion of :Albert Einstein declined
Hello. Per the notice you received above, a tag had been placed on :Albert Einstein requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please note that after review, I have declined the deletion request so you do not need to worry about this article being speedily deleted. Please note that speedy deletion is only one of three deletion processes on Wikipedia; my decline does not prevent users from invoking the separate, longer term deletion methods of proposed deletion or bringing the article to articles for deletion. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.z2<!-- Template:Declinedsd -->

Usage

This template is placed on the talk page of a user who created an article which has been tagged for speedy deletion, has been warned about the speedy deletion, and for which the speedy deletion was declined.

 • This template should always be substituted and will break if transcluded.
 • In addition to header options (below), this template takes two parameters, the first of which is required:
 1. You must place the name of the article you have declined to speedy delete as a first parameter:
 2. You can optionally supply the reason you declined speedy deletion as a second parameter, which will follow the words "on the basis that" when the parameter is used:

Header options

 • An automatic header can be placed using:
 • Or the header can be customized using:

Example use

, results in:

Speedy deletion of Albert Einstein declined

Hello. Per the notice you received above, a tag had been placed on Albert Einstein requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Please note that after review, I have declined the deletion request on the basis that the article properly indicated importance by noting that he won Nobel Prize in Physics, so you do not need to worry about this article being speedily deleted. Please note that speedy deletion is only one of three deletion processes on Wikipedia; my decline does not prevent users from invoking the separate, longer term deletion methods of proposed deletion or bringing the article to articles for deletion. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.
