Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

The {{Deprecated stub}} template notifies users that a given stub template is no longer used and should be replaced by one of several more precise templates. This is useful when a stub template's name is ambiguous and could refer to one of several related but different subjects.

Deprecated stub templates are rarely deleted, and are usually kept as soft redirects.

Usage

{{Deprecated stub|old template name|redirecting text}}

Templates are categorized to Category:Deprecated stub templates. Articles which still use stub templates marked as deprecated are categorized to Category:Pages using deprecated templates.

Examples

{{Deprecated stub|Old-stub|{{Tl|This-new-stub}} or {{Tl|That-new-stub}}}}
