Adolphe Demange
... that one of Adolphe DemangeTemplate:`s better-known paintings is of Anne de Rochechouart de Mortemart, Duchesse d’Uzès working on a huge sculpture of Joan of Arc in the workshop of Alexandre Falguière in 1900?

Template:Ping Just barely of length (around 1,770 characters), QPQ is good. However, the citation doesn't seem to actually say that this is one of his better known paintings. Smurrayinchester 13:36, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
- Template:Ping I noticed this by accident – the ping did not work for some reason. You are right. A web search on the artist shows a lot of references to the painting, but the source does not say "better known". I have removed the claim. How about ALT1 or ALT2 below? Not very exciting, but I can't think of a better one... Aymatth2 (talk) 17:38, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
- ALT1 ... that Adolphe Demange painted Anne de Rochechouart de Mortemart, Duchesse d'Uzès working on a huge sculpture of Joan of Arc in the workshop of Alexandre Falguière in 1900?
- ALT2 ... that Adolphe Demange painted the Duchesse d'Uzès working on a huge sculpture of Joan of Arc?
Either looks good to me (depending on how much space the admin wants to use, I guess!) Smurrayinchester 21:27, 30 May 2015 (UTC)
