- Comment: Also reviewed Template:Did you know nominations/Tina Seabrook. In 2013 it was discovered that this tree was pollinated by birds. The masked flowerpiercer has been observed feeding on the tree in the way necessary for pollination, but neither the source nor the article states that it does pollinate the tree.

- Rachel Helps (BYU), if you use the DYK checklist template, you don't use the DYKtick template in it; the DYK checklist template provides its own icon when you fill in the status field: "y" produces the green tick, "?" the ? icon, "maybe" the / icon, "no" the X icon, and if the hookcited field is filled in with "agf", then a "y" in status will produce the gray AGF tick.
