Symbol question.svg Interesting life, on plenty of good sources, no copyio obvious. I'd be less interested in her being born in NYC than in "I wanted to do dolls with souls." - Please get her birth name to the lead, also. - The image is licensed, and of doll-like quality ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:11, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
  • Thank you for the review. I put her birth name in the lead. I'm not sure how to work the "dolls with souls" quote into a hook.
  • ALT1: ... that Beatrice Alexander (pictured) introduced many innovations to give her Madame Alexander dolls a more lifelike appearance – what she termed "dolls with souls"?
  • Alternately, if you like her "doll-like appearance":
  • ALT2: ... that 90 years after Beatrice Alexander (pictured) founded the Alexander Doll Company, the company issued a Madame Alexander doll in her likeness, dressed in the style of the 1920s and priced at $1,499.95? </>Yoninah (talk) 19:01, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for more ideas. "more lifelike" is enough for me:
ALT3: ... that Beatrice Alexander (pictured) introduced innovations to give her Madame Alexander dolls a more lifelike appearance?
ALT4: ... that 90 years after Beatrice Alexander (pictured) founded the Alexander Doll Company, the company issued a doll in her likeness, priced at $1,499.95?
