Bracha Zefira
- ... that singer Bracha Zefira (pictured) is credited with bringing Yemenite and other Oriental Jewish folk songs into the mix of ethnic music in Palestine to create a new "Israeli style"? Source: "By virtue of her singing talents, she played an important role in uniting Yemenite music with that of other ethnic groups in an attempt to forge an Israeli style." (Ariel)

Interesting life, on good sources, the few Hebrew sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed and a good illustration. Do you avoid a time in the caption on purpose? - In the lead, I'd just say "orphaned" and leave the detail for later. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:22, 6 February 2019 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review. Yes, I try to keep the image captions as brief as possible. Regarding "orphaned", I thought it was important to emphasize both parents, because often an orphan is referred to as such after losing one parent. Yoninah (talk) 09:39, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- Well, the pic style shows the time, a bit, but the hook is much hookier that earlier than it would be now, and I don't know how much our readers would see style. - I never heard that you'd say orphaned of a child who lost one parent, - always learning. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:06, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by Template:Tq. Yoninah (talk) 21:05, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- The hook said about the early 20th century means more than the same thing said about the 21st. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:40, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry, I honestly don't understand what you're saying. The hook says "Palestine", which is before 1948. Yoninah (talk) 22:39, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry, I thougt only of the region, Palestine (region). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:36, 8 February 2019 (UTC)
