Carpathian newt
... that the Carpathian newt sometimes hybridises with the smooth newt, though they usually occur in different habitats?

- 16px 5x expansion and length OK. Not sure about the hook though. The source says "Some sites may support both species, and there may be a high rate of hybridization (about 60%) at these sites", the "may" doesn't strike me as supporting the assertion that it "sometimes hybridises". Also is [caudata.org] reliable? Thanks - Dumelow (talk) 22:12, 26 September 2014 (UTC)
