::::*I updated the 2014 election results-Debbie Rodella ran unopposed for re-election and is returning to the New Mexico Legislature. I do have a modest request of my fellow editors editing this article; please do not give myself credit for DYK of this article. I feel uncomfortable if this is done. I have some mixed opinions about DYK some positive and some not so positive. Many thanks again-[[User:RFD|RFD]] ([[User talk:RFD|talk]]) 12:48, 12 November 2014 (UTC)

Debbie Rodella

  • Reviewed: Jonas Wood
  • Comment: The text itself has been expanded more than five fold to over 1,500 characters

2x expanded and sourced (BLP) 5x expanded by Centpacrr (talk). Nominated by RTG (talk) at 18:03, 28 September 2014 (UTC).

  • Note: this had two references prior to expansion, so it is not eligible for the 2x unsourced BLP exception. But that doesn't matter, because it's been 5x expanded. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 18:57, 28 September 2014 (UTC)
  • Symbol question.svg 5x expansion verified. New enough, long enough, adequately referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. QPQ done. However, the hook is rather unflattering for a BLP, despite all the scandals she and her husband keep getting involved in. How about:
  • ALT1: ... that New Mexico House of Representatives Democrat Debbie Rodella voted with Republicans to block a same-sex marriage bill in committee? Yoninah (talk) 21:18, 2 November 2014 (UTC)
  • Template:ReplyI'm not sure I can review a hook as the nominator. If I can, I say yes. ~ R.T.G 01:15, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
  • I'm not asking you to review it, just to say if you like it or not – and if not, to suggest something else. Yoninah (talk) 12:29, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
  • Symbol redirect vote 4.svg Really? We're trying to write hooks, not "Information, please" entries. I thought the fact that she was a Democrat voting against same-sex marriage was more hooky. Let's leave it to another reviewer to decide among the alts. I inserted "New Mexico House of Representatives member" into the alt hooks. Meanwhile, the page creator keeps editing the page, especially the part about her husband. I feel that this section borders on WP:LIBEL and is taking over Debbie's biography, which is skimpy at best. The page must be stable before it can appear on DYK. Yoninah (talk) 20:58, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
