El Temblor

  • ... that El Temblor in Guatemala is the site of a ruined ancient Maya city that has not yet been excavated by archaeologists, but has been badly damaged by looters?

  • It's a very remote and obscure site. There appears to be next to nothing in the literature about it; the cited source seems to be the only published description of it. If it had been excavated by archaeologists, that fact would have been noted somewhere.
