Enno Hallek

Stockholm subway stadion
Stockholm subway stadion
  • ... that refugee Enno Hallek fled to Sweden and did not return to his native Estonia until 1989, and has since held several exhibitions of his art in the country?
  • ALT1: ... that artist Enno Hallek (example of art pictured) and his family fled the Russian occupation of Estonia to Sweden on his father's fishing trawler?
  • ALT2: ... that artist Enno Hallek since 1990 has worked on a series of paintings which he calls "portable sunsets"?
  • ALT3: ... that artist Enno Hallek since 1990 has worked on a series of paintings (pictured) which he has named "portable sunsets"?

Symbol question.svg Interesting life and work, on good sources, Swedish sources accepted AGF. I added an image and suggest to word something around his art rather than his Estonian-Swedish identity which I had to read several times. (Sorry if that is just me.) "Portable sunsets" seems catchy. If you want to stick with the original fact, please clarify that he was a refugee from Estonia clearly and sooner, and anyway in the article lead. Is there a more elegant wording for "Motives for his arts-pieces"? Please provide a publisher for all references, and a date if known. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:59, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
Template:Ping - I have taken care of the issues you mentioned, and added two more hooks. If there are more issues or suggestions let me know.BabbaQ (talk) 12:02, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
Thank you, good ideas. I tweaked ALT1 a bit (Russian ...), but again don't think it's much about his art, - the precise place of landing with all links seems of no interest (to me). Stopping after trawler might work, indicating. I understand that "since" is used too much by us foreigners and should better be "from". Does the year matter? Is the subway station a sunset? If not please reword as ALT4. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:12, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
If you agree with me, ALT1 seems to be the best. I think we have a winner. It is really interesting.BabbaQ (talk) 12:15, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
Symbol voting keep.svg I like to please, perhaps we can get the art on board of the trawler after all. I included Sweden. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:31, 15 August 2015 (UTC)
