Maybe there is "injustice" being done by geologically describing a continent rather than a geopolitical entity? I don't see how this article can get anywhere when editors are not interested in the content for the reader, but in personal support of some type of "justice." The editor who wrote most of the article agreed to most of my criticisms and wanted it improved. But, for some reason, other editors are not interested in the geology and want to spend time addressing personal issues, like the "injustice" of geologically including the entire craton in the article. - ... that the North American continent has one shield but many orogens?
- Comment: Hook not directly sourced, but in context of all the sources used. It is a broad overview article which deserves a broad hook. But I'm open for suggestions :)
