::*What needs clarifying? Both are just names; both a Priory and a church are exactly the same things: they are both church buildings. There is one single building at Gresley that was at first a priory church and then like countless others changed to a parish church following the reformation; it is the same building, the only difference is the people who perform services there. It is this single church building that gave Church Gresley it's name; it is named for the church building (as apposed to Castle Gresley which was named for the castle). As the Hook Says: The Church was originally a Priory. And the article explains that. [[User:Rushton2010|Rushton2010]] ([[User talk:Rushton2010|talk]]) 09:15, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

  • What needs clarifying? Both are just names; both a Priory and a church are exactly the same things: they are both church buildings. There is one single building at Gresley that was at first a priory church and then like countless others changed to a parish church following the reformation; it is the same building, the only difference is the people who perform services there. It is this single church building that gave Church Gresley it's name; it is named for the church building (as apposed to Castle Gresley which was named for the castle). As the Hook Says: The Church was originally a Priory. And the article explains that. Rushton2010 (talk) 09:15, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
