: Interesting life, on few but good sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I am not happy "helmets" here, "helme" there in the hook, but perhaps that can't be avoided? The image is licensed, and shows well. In the article, there's something preceded by "fifth century AD", and I not only believe that it should be "fifth-century ...", but also that it might be better phrased differently. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:24, 21 March 2018 (UTC) | : Interesting life, on few but good sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. :::: I see what you mean now—"spangenhelm" has basically been appropriated as an English word, to the extent that when I read it I don't see the word "helmets", I just see a term of art. I think that makes it's use okay, as unless one is fluent in German (as are you), it doesn't seem awkward. --Usernameunique (talk) 21:18, 21 March 2018 (UTC) | :::: I see what you mean now—"spangenhelm" has basically been appropriated as an English word, to the extent that when I read it I don't see the word "helmets", I just see a term of art. Interesting life, on few but good sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I am not happy "helmets" here, "helme" there in the hook, but perhaps that can't be avoided? The image is licensed, and shows well. In the article, there's something preceded by "fifth century AD", and I not only believe that it should be "fifth-century ...", but also that it might be better phrased differently. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:24, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review, Template:U. Good catch on the hyphen, but reworded it so they're not necessary. Not sure what you mean when you say you're not happy with the helmets, could you clarify? --Usernameunique (talk) 20:57, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
- I thought it was clear that I am not happy with (English) helmets and (German) "helme", but probably there's no way around it. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:04, 21 March 2018 (UTC)
