International Encyclopedia of Women Composers
- ... that the International Encyclopedia of Women Composers contains biographies of over 5,000 women composers from nearly 70 countries?
- ALT1:... that the International Encyclopedia of Women Composers was written partially in response to a comment by Thomas Beecham who said, "There are no women composers, never have been and possibly never will be"?
- Reviewed: Butterfly (TV series)

- Lua error: expandTemplate: template "y" does not exist.
- The lead never needs to be referenced because it is just a summary of the article. The quotes are referenced, but just not at the direct end of the quote because they don't need to be. SL93 (talk) 18:46, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
- Why can't you find the source? It is cited right after the hook at [1]. "The 597-page, $135 compendium of biographies, composition-lists, bibliographies, publications and photographs includes more than 5,000 entries ranging over 44 centuries and nearly 70 countries." SL93 (talk) 19:02, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
- I can find that one. It's the 5000 I can't find in that article. valereee (talk) 19:04, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
- "The 597-page, $135 compendium of biographies, composition-lists, bibliographies, publications and photographs includes more than 5,000 entries ranging over 44 centuries and nearly 70 countries." SL93 (talk) 19:05, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
- Still not finding "5000" or "five" in that source -- where in here source does it mention 5000? valereee (talk) 19:08, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
- I already quoted it. SL93 (talk) 19:09, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
- I know you quoted it. I'm saying that when I read the article it's supposed to have been sourced from, I'm not finding it in the source. valereee (talk) 19:12, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
- The second paragraph. "The 597-page, $135 compendium of biographies, composition-lists, bibliographies, publications and photographs includes more than 5,000 entries ranging over 44 centuries and nearly 70 countries. Mr. Cohen, a 76-year-old retired town planner in Johannesburg, South Africa, spent eight years researching the book, which is meant to fill a significant gap in the history of music. The effort, he writes, was to be liberal and inclusive rather than discriminating. SL93 (talk) 19:12, 26 December 2018 (UTC)

- Can you recheck the adequate sourcing criterion? The lead doesn't need to be referenced and the quotes are sourced at the following references. SL93 (talk) 19:15, 26 December 2018 (UTC)
