- New enough, long enough and within policy (well cited, no close paraphrasing suspected). QPQ done. I don't really think ALT1 is very hooky. ALT0 is better, but I think it needs to say who Kirby is. Naming the book doesn't help and I find a little distracting. I suggest this tweak:

Hi, I came by to promote this, but while the hook is making an active statement, that in the book Kirby is speaking about teachers, the article prose is not written that way at all; it sounds like avoiding burnout by having less marking is simply a byproduct of students' ability to do their homework. Here is the sentence in the article: Template:Tq. Yoninah (talk) 21:14, 22 December 2019 (UTC)

- Thanks Template:Reply. I'm looking again. In his chapter on homework, Joe Kirby describes how simplified, centralised systems and consistency enable all our pupils to complete homework every evening, whilst minimising effort for teachers....with the aim to reduce teacher workload...the elimination of homework is not about saving pupils – it is about saving teachers. “Common practices result in heavy workload, high burnout, and very, very high levels of teacher turnover,” Mr Kirby said. “Every single decision we make, we want to look at through this lens: is it going to reduce workload for teachers? We want to create a new blueprint, where it’s possible for teachers to have a life.” [1]...I've made an edit and I'll go through again unless you think it looks ok now. - Template:Ping thank you for your edits. While the article reads well, it seems to me that the ALT0 hook really refers to his blog post "Marking is a Hornet". Yoninah (talk) 12:17, 23 December 2019 (UTC)

- As suggested by Template:U, I have added Alt3. The other Alt1 and Alt2 are okay too. Would this need another review Template:U? The hornet hook is appealing.Whispyhistory (talk) 07:44, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
