• Comment: One of the sources used for citing the date of birth is a permanent dead link (I had copied it from her Japanese article, which was the basis for most of the biography section); however I added an alternate citation if in case the dead reference isn't adequate enough. Additional hook suggestions are welcome, although sources are a bit thin on her personal life.

16px Large portions of the article are not cited, and this is a problem for an article that would appear on the main page. There are also odd sentences like this one (On her debut stage she unfortunately had hay fever and had to cover her right eye with an eye patch). "Unfortunately" is a very weird word choice as I doubt anyone has "fortunately" contracted hay fever. There are also two tags attached to the top of the page (This article needs additional citations for verification and This article may require copy editing for grammar, style, cohesion, tone, or spelling.). With all of this in mind, the article requires a substantial amount of work before it could be featured on the main page as a DYK. To be fair, it was my mistake since I had accidentally linked to the wrong article in the hook. I've fixed the link now.
