You word it (or I can't review it). --[[User:Gerda Arendt|Gerda Arendt]] ([[User talk:Gerda Arendt|talk]]) 13:01, 22 April 2014 (UTC)

Symbol question.svg Interesting article on interesting person and technique, based on good sources. Do you hate infoboxes? - I am not yet happy with the hook, as a bit dry. How about mentioning "commentary on time's passage", and/or Potsdamer Platz "at once strikingly energetic and ghostly and uninhabited". You word it (or I can't review it). --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:01, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
Which infobox would you suggest to add to the article? I'm sceptical whether an infobox would really make it any better, but I'm open for comments. I'm not quite sure whether to use the quotation in the hook because it might be hard to understand as a hook for quick readers? Hm.--Aschmidt (talk) 22:09, 22 April 2014 (UTC)
Infobox: I use {{infobox person}} for all people and keep it short. Dates and places are the most important features to inform a reader. My most (in)famous person is Peter Planyavsky ;) - The hook: I see people leaving when they read "a self-made pinhole camera". Perhaps concentrate on the three years exposure and mention some places? Readers should NOT understand the hook, but be curious to click. If the hook tells everything, they will not ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:15, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
Dear Gerda, again thanks for your helpful criticism. I've now added an infobox and a list of some of the catalogues that went with the exhibitions of his pictures, and I've made another suggestion for the hook which I hope reads more interesting?--Aschmidt (talk) 23:15, 26 April 2014 (UTC)
If you enjoy criticism, here's more ;) - next time please don't change the hook, because the conversation depends on it. I think it's too long, but would approve it if it's what you want to say. Another hint: reduce links other than the main article. My version of the same sourced facts:
