:{{DYKtick}} - as above, length and reffing is fine in both hook and article. No close paraphrasing spotted. I did a bit of expanding and merging. I prefer alt1. Like to keep this for International Women's Day if author if fine with that [[User:Victuallers|Victuallers]] ([[User talk:Victuallers|talk]]) 19:10, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

  • 16px At more than 1600chars, the article is long enough. It's free from close paraphrasing issues as far as I could see. Without affecting its compliance with DYK requirements, some sections are a little short, and could possibly be merged or expanded. The hook is cited to the only source not available on line. Also, might be interesting to be the first of/in something, but second? No. I don't feel it's particularly interesting to be second, even if it is "only to Margot Fonteyn amongst British ballerinas" – we could probably do better hooking to one of her roles, maybe that of a vixen... -- Ohc ¡digame! 15:14, 26 January 2014 (UTC)
  • I've added a URL for the ONDB reference (subscription only, but accessible online using most UK public library cards). How about ALT1:

... that ballet dancer Sally Gilmour was best known for her metamorphosis into a vixen in the title role of Andrée Howard's Lady Into Fox?

16px - as above, length and reffing is fine in both hook and article. No close paraphrasing spotted. I did a bit of expanding and merging. I prefer alt1. Like to keep this for International Women's Day if author if fine with that Victuallers (talk) 19:10, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
