The hook is short enough, backed up by reliable sources with in-line citations, and interesting enough -- I plan to check the place out next time I'm in Oakland. Use of Duplication Detector on the two most-cited sources did not reveal copyvio or unduly close paraphrasing. On the issue of DYK credits, there are four editors listed to receive credit. Binksternet and SaraStierch did most of the work, not so much by the other two, but it was a nice gesture by Binksternet to credit the others as well and I see no reason to challenge all four getting credit. Binksternet's photo is supported by an appropriate Creative Commons license, and I doubt the owner would object to the signage being included, even if it logo elements are subject to IP protection.
