Windows 10

* ALT2:... that it is theorized Microsoft skipped directly from 8 to Windows 10 instead of 9 to prevent older applications from mistaking it for 95 or 98?

  • Symbol confirmed.svg Well, unless I'm missing something (which I have been known to do on many an occasion), ALT2 is out of the window because I can't find any mention of it except that Microsoft refuses to say why it's skipped to Windows 10 as a name. ALT1 is good and I love the name of the article source ("Windows 10 command prompt finally gets dragged into the 21st century"). I removed one sentence that sounded like an advert, but this article needed to be reviewed with an eye on the fact that it's hard to talk about a project that will be launched without relying on statements given by the company in question. Good secondary sources, with no obvious paraphrasing that I can catch. Was written within the appropriate time frame and is more than long enough. Gets a tick from me!
