Usage

{{ELL2}} is a simple template for inserting a citation to the second edition of the Encyclopedia of Language and Linguistics, which is commonly cited in articles on languages and linguistics.

Useful parameters:

  • First parameter: optional author name for an entry.
  • Second parameter: optional entry title.
  • style=citation: Use {{citation}} instead of {{cite book}}. This changes the look slightly (basically, commas instead of periods are used to separate sections of the citation), and should be used when the remaining citations use {{citation}}. In both cases, parenthetical references inserted using {{harv}} or similar templates will work properly.
