![]() | This is a documentation subpage for Template:Earth radius. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
{{Earth radius}}
→ R⊕{{Earth radius|FOOBAR}}
→ FOOBAR R⊕ (with non-breaking space)
Usually, this will be used as:
{{Earth radius|10}}
→ 10 R⊕{{Earth radius|{{val|13|1|-2|e=7}}}}
→ Template:Val R⊕
Alternatively, one could use:
{{val|12|e=8|u=Earth radius}}
→ Template:Val{{val|12|e=8|u=R_Earth}}
→ Template:Val
Instead of {{Earth radius}}
one can use the shorter version {{R+}}
with the same functionality:
{{R+|10}}
→ Template:R+{{R+}}
→ Template:R+{{val|12|e=8|u=R+}}
→ Template:Val
Options
To include a link to Earth radius, use the |link=yes
parameter (or |link=y
):
{{Earth radius|link=yes}}
→ R⊕{{R+|link=yes}}
→ Template:R+
Alternatively, one could use:
{{val|12|e=8|ul=Earth radius}}
→ Template:Val{{val|12|e=8|ul=R_Earth}}
→ Template:Val{{val|12|e=8|ul=R+}}
→ Template:Val
