Template:Tfd23

Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

Usage

The templates {{1/2}}, {{1/3}}, {{2/3}}, {{1/4}} and {{3/4}} use HTML markup to create large, readable, common fractions "12, 13, Template:Tfd23, 14, 34", as opposed to the often illegible "½, ⅓, ⅔, ¼, ¾" or horizontal "1/2, 1/3, 2/3, 1/4, 3/4". They are intended as concise, easily interpreted alternatives to {{frac|1|2}}, {{frac|1|3}}, {{frac|2|3}}, {{frac|1|4}}, {{frac|3|4}}.

  • Bake for {{1/2}} hour.

generates:

  • Bake for 12 hour.

without requiring the use of bulky HTML markup.

Please note that these templates do not handle preceding integers (or succeeding units) and the spacing in between, use {{frac}} for that:
