Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

This is the {{editnotice explanation}} template.

It can be placed at the top of talk pages of editnotices.

This template takes two optional parameters, the first of which is the CSS class/id name of the editnotice, if one has been set (typically via the "id" and "class" parameters of {{fmbox}}).

  • Example: {{Editnotice explanation}}
  • Example: {{Editnotice explanation|idname}}

The second optional parameter, |2=fully protected, will remove template editors from this notice on talk pages of fully protected edit notices.

  • Example: {{Editnotice explanation|idname|fully protected}}
