Usage

This template generates a tournament bracket for the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs format that was in effect from the 1993-1994 season to the 2012-2013 season. Eight teams from each of the two conferences qualified for the playoffs. Pairings were then re-seeded after the first round. This system is still used in other leagues (see what links here).
