The {{failed verification}} tag will categorise tagged articles into Category:Articles with unsourced statements. This template is a self-reference and thus is part of the Wikipedia project rather than the encyclopaedic content.

Usage

Common form (with current date)

{{failed verification|date=January 2026}}
