| This is a documentation subpage for Template:FlagCAC. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
{{flagCAC|code|games|athletes}}
This template is used to display a small flag and country name, with a wikilink to the country's page for the specified Central American and Caribbean Games.
- code is an International Olympic Committee country code (see List of IOC country codes).
- games is a year. The intent is to have a full set of pages of the form "<country> at the <year> Central American and Caribbean Games" and the intent is that this template can be used from medal tables and event result tables to point to the right country page (similar to pages created for the Olympics and Pan Am Games).
- athletes is the number of athletes that the nation contributed to the specific Games. It is an optional argument, and will render a small (#) after the nation's name.
Known Issues to address
- Note – the issues below have been addressed, but the text below will not be removed until confirmed.
- Country name: the IOC or CASCO/ODECABE country names should be listed: currently the actual country name will display. e.g.
{{flagCAC|ISV}}produces
Virgin Islands, instead of listing the country as "Virgin Islands".
