50px Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]

This template is designed to take the hassle out of starting a sortable season table, and to standardise the layout of season tables whether sortable or not.

Usage

The standard usage of this to simply type {{Football season start}}, which produces

Season Division P W D L F A Pts Pos Cup League Cup Competition Result Name Goals
League Other Top scorer

Parameters

All parameters are optional, although use of the country parameter is highly recommended.

  • |country This parameter allows the user to specify which country the team plays in. It provides customised wikilinks for cup competitions based on the country that the team plays in. For instance, an English club would use {{Football season start|country=ENG}}, which produces:
Season Division P W D L F A Pts Pos FA Cup League Cup Competition Result Name Goals
League Other Top scorer

The country codes used are the FIFA country codes. For instance, England is ENG.

  • |sort By default, this template produces a full sortable table. To make it fully unsortable, type |sort=no
    • |cup1sort (Only necessary if |sort parameter is not used) To make the first cup unsortable, type |cup1sort=no
    • |cup2sort (Only necessary if |sort parameter is not used) To make the second cup unsortable, type |cup2sort=no
