Anti-racism support

As a company, Editorialist want to be a part of the solution moving forward, not the problem. As such, they are taking both immediate and long-term steps to better educate themselves on issues of injustice, inequality, and racism.

Donation

To start, they are donating to Black Lives Matter, the NAACP, Color of Change, Black Visions Collective, and a multitude of community bail funds across the country.[1]

Education on racial inequalities

Editorialist also will be working alongside a training partner as part of an ongoing company-wide initiative to educate our team on how to understand, challenge, and change racial inequalities in the industry, workplace, and everyday life.[1]

Diversity

Aditorialist also wants to challenge their internal structure. Not only to have greater diversity in their talent, feature-driven pieces, and throughout the content that they cover, but they also want to have greater diversity in their staff and contributors. They will also be actively looking into their current internship program and how they can work on building a stronger foundation for people of color to help create future opportunities and ultimately, a more diverse fashion community.[1]
