Supports to Black Lives Matter
In order to support Black Lives Matter movement in the fight against police brutality and systemic racism, Nudestix announced several initiatives: it will be donating a minimum of $25,000 over the next two years to its Beauty Be Change scholarships for post-secondary education of POC in marginalised and oppressed communities. It will also be launching the Beauty Be Change business fund for POC working as make-up artists or black small business owners and donating $20,000 to this cause.[1]
They are also announced to launch their own Beauty Be Change Instagram Live Series. This live series will speak to current and relevant social issues. During this announcement (June 2020), they are dedicated to speaking of racial injustice. They are featuring POC in their community and addressing how they have personally experience racial injustices and what we can do to fight them, as well as share inspirational stories of success as a positive light during challenging time. The goal of the series beyond inspiration, but to change moment of divisiveness and hate into hope, inspiration and change.[2]
