00A550

This is the hexadecimal colour code used for Great Northern Railway (Great Britain) lines.

According to E.F. Carter, the GNR locomotive colour was "green of one shade or another";[1] "bright, almost grass green";[1] "green";[2] "light grass-green";[3] "slightly yellower green than [a colour previously described as green]"[4] or "bright green".[5] I have thus settled on a colour #00A550 identified as Grass green.
