| This is a documentation subpage for Template:Game guide. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
For use on video game related articles with excessive amounts of in-game details related to how the game is played or other trivial information about a game.
Add the following wikicode to the article:
{{Game guide|date=January 2026}}
Adding |serious=yes will add an additional line suggesting that the article may be a candidate for moving to an external gaming wiki, and giving advice on how to do so.
Add |section=yes to specify that only a section of the article is offending.
This template will categorize tagged articles into Category:Video game cleanup.
