Usage
Place this template following a section or statement which doesn't represent a global perspective. You should include the date in the format |date = October 2025
. You may also include a region which is overrepresented using the first unnamed parameter. This changes the template text from [globalize] to Region-centric (Example: [globalize], [globalize]) and categorizes the page accordingly if the region has its own category.
{{Globalize-inline|region|date=October 2025}}
Please also explain your concerns at the talk page to make it easier for other editors to fix it.
TemplateData
TemplateData for Globalize-inline
Use this cleanup template to indicate that an article is written primarily from the perspective of a particular region of the world.
Parameter | Description | Type | Status | |
---|---|---|---|---|
Affected area | 1 | Text to replace the word "article", usually "section". This is a legacy feature that has been replaced by the separate {{Globalize section}} template.
| Line | deprecated |
Month and year | date | The month and year that the template was placed (in full). "{{subst:CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{subst:CURRENTYEAR}}" inserts the current month and year automatically.
