For use with the Illustration workshop's Top 4 and Photography workshop's Four Requests projects. The template is placed after an image listed in a gallery. Only request (and unfree, if necessary) must be filled out by the requester. The volunteer who will work on the image must claim the image by placing their username in the taken by field.

Usage

Template only

Template:Pre2

Parameters
  • unfree: Images that are fair-use only must be listed in this parameter, without the File: prefix. A link to the image will appear. Use the NFCC image.svg unfree icon in place of the image within the gallery. See below for an example. This parameter is optional and only required for non-free images.
  • request: Enter the work needed to be done. For example, "Remove watermark", "Crop border", etc.
  • taken by: For the volunteer's name who will work on the image. This parameter is required for any new name written in the new file parameter to appear. Enter the username without the User: prefix. If blank, the template will be surrounded by a blue border, along with a note that reads "Not taken yet." When a name is entered, the template border will turn yellow.
  • new file: This parameter should be left blank until work has been completed. If the new image is uploaded over an older version, enter done (in all lowercase), and the template will read overwritten. If the new image was uploaded elsewhere, enter the name of the file, without the File: prefix.
  • new file unfree: If the new file is non-free (fair use), set this parameter to anything ("yes" or "1", for example). This will remove the inline image in the "New file" field and keep the image link only.
