Returns number of decimals in atomic weight. Uncertainty is discarded. Used: when doing crude molar mass calculation (see {{Chem molar mass}}).
Returns: the lowest number of decimals in a formula.
- For starters: (Jan 2019): single element.
Atomic weight values used:
- 1. When interval: conventional, abridged value.
- 2. When single number value: standard atomic weight (unabridged).
- 3. When no stable isotope: mass number (0 decimals).
- Uncertainty, noted as Template:Val (Ni) or Template:Val (H, implicit Template:Val), is discarded (removed unused).
Usage
- In {{Chem molar mass}}
