Template:Underused external link template
Contents
Purpose
The template is for making an external link to a page on the Internet Bird Collection website.
Usage
|id=- slug of IBC page URL; if no value is entered, the template will attempt to fetch it from Wikidata|name=- text to display; defaults to page name of no value is entered
{{InternetBirdCollection|id|name}}
The ID can be found in the URL of the search results for that species. It is usually the common English name followed by the scientific name, with all words separated by hyphens. e.g. - white-tipped-quetzal-pharomachrus-fulgidus
Example of usage
*{{InternetBirdCollection|white-tipped-quetzal-pharomachrus-fulgidus|White-tipped Quetzal}}
will be displayed as
