The movie is about black people having a rough time with the police in Brooklyn (NY) while bullying each other. To stop the white policemen from killing young black American, the "most brilliant" girl in school travels back in time to make changes. The director clearly wanted to make a movie about how badly black people are treated by the police in America, which is a subject too serious to be put in the hands of two kids who only travel back in time to throw slush at their ex boyfriends. <ref name=":0" />
