Usage
This template is used inline in article prose or in tables and lists to indicate that the text in the first parameter is in the Middle English language. It automatically italicizes the content by default as something other than Modern English.

The |1= part is optional, if the Middle English content does not contain the character "=".
For subsequent occurrences in the same page, the link to the language name should be turned off with |link=no:
{{lang-enm|1=more Middle English content here|link=no}}
