| This is a documentation subpage for Template:Locomotive index. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
This is the {{Locomotive index}} or locomotive index article template.
It can be used to mark a page as a set index article about locomotives. It is usually placed at the bottom of the page.
This template adds the page to Category:Set indices on locomotives.
Usage
This template can be used without any parameters like this:
{{Locomotive index}}
Editors usually, however, want to control how the page is sorted in Category:Set indices on locomotives. This is accomplished by using the "name=" parameter, like this:
{{Locomotive index|name=locomotive name}}
