Usage

This template expands a name to link to the appropriate Mass Rapid Transit station article, without displaying "MRT Station".

The optional second parameter (any character) will change the word "Station" to lowercase (the default is capitalized).

The template can be abbreviated as {{mrt}} or {{mrts}} (for MRT Station), or {{mrtl}} as a short form to omit the second parameter.

For example:

{{MRT Station|Taft Avenue}} expands to [[Taft Avenue MRT Station|Taft Avenue]], and

both {{MRT Station|Ximen|x}} and {{mrtl|Ximen}} expand to [[Ximen MRT station|Ximen]].

Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place, for example that Quezon Avenue is located on Quezon Avenue.

Most MRT station articles follow the link form of terminating with "MRT Station" or "MRT station".
