This template generates {{Sfn}} citations to Mammal Species of the World. In addition to all standard Sfn parameters (|p=, |pp=, and |loc=), it supports the following parameters:

  • |id=: ID of the taxon cited in [1].
  • |heading=: heading for the taxon cited. If this is not given, the ID is shown.
  • |unique=: identifier after the year, which helps makes unique citations possible when citing multiple MSW3 contributions with the same author.

The year should not given.

Examples

Code:

Lorem{{MSW3 Sfn|Groves|id=12100002|heading=Strepsirrhini|unique=b}} ipsum{{MSW3 Sfn|Groves|id=11000001|heading=Diprotodontia|unique=a}} dolor{{MSW3 Sfn|Musser|Carleton|id=13000784|heading=''Oryzomys''}} sit amet.

Result:

Lorem[1] ipsum[2] dolor[3] sit amet.
