Notes
- ↑ Although the bill to repeal the language law passed with a majority of votes (232 deputies out of 450) in the Verkhovna Rada, Interim President Oleksandr Turchynov has since announced that he will not sign it until "there is a new proper legislation to replace it". "Although the language law was unbalanced, I will not sign into law the parliament's decision to repeal it until a new bill to protect all {minority} languages is passed," Turchynov said.[2]
